Customer statement

The customer statement lists the units your company holds on behalf of one customer, grouped by status and by warehouse. Use it when a customer asks what you are storing for them, or when you need a printable record to send them.

Choosing a customer

• Customer — pick the customer from the Choose a customer list.

What the statement shows

• Total units — the number of units owned by the customer.
• One card per status, with the unit count for that status.
• Unit counts per warehouse.
• A table of units with these columns:
  • Code
  • Serial number
  • Product
  • Warehouse
  • Status

How to view and download the PDF

1. From the side menu, open Reports, then click Customer statement.
2. In Customer, choose the customer.
3. Review the statement on screen.
4. Click Download PDF to save a printable A4 statement.

The PDF shows your company name, the date and time it was generated, the customer, the total units, units by status, units by warehouse and the unit details, including the date each unit was received. When the interface is in Arabic, the PDF is laid out right to left.

Note

The statement only includes units in warehouses you have access to. If you see This customer has no units you can see, the customer has no units, or they are in warehouses outside your access.

Required permission

You need the view inventory reports permission and permission to view customers.
