Stock as of a date

This report rebuilds your stock position at the end of any past day from the unit history. It answers the question “what did we hold, where, and what was it worth on that date?”, which makes it useful for audits, month-end checks and reconciling with accounting.

If you do not choose a date, the report shows today’s stock.

Filters

• As of date — the day to rebuild. The stock is calculated at the end of that day.
• Warehouse — one warehouse, or All warehouses. Only warehouses you have access to are listed.
• Product — one product, or All products.
• Category — one category, or All categories.

Summary cards

• Units in stock — total units held on that date.
• Stock value — total value of those units.
• Warehouses — how many warehouses held stock.
• Products — how many products were in stock.

How to run and export

1. From the side menu, open Reports, then click Stock as of a date.
2. Choose the As of date and, if needed, a Warehouse, Product or Category.
3. Read the summary cards and the table. Change the number of rows per page at the bottom of the table if needed.
4. Click Export Excel to download the same rows as an Excel file.

Note

If the message No stock on this date appears, pick another date or clear the filters.
