How to set a minimum stock for one warehouse

Section titled “How to set a minimum stock for one warehouse”

A low-stock alert is sent when the available units drop below the minimum. A warehouse threshold overrides the product minimum, which overrides the global default.

  1. Open the By warehouse tab. The Low-stock thresholds list shows the warehouses that already have their own threshold.
  2. Click Add threshold.
  3. Pick the Warehouse and enter the Minimum stock in this warehouse.
  4. Click Save threshold. If the warehouse already had a threshold, it is replaced by the new value.
  • Warehouse — the warehouse that gets its own threshold. Only warehouses you are assigned to operate can be chosen.
  • Minimum stock in this warehouse — a whole number from 0 to 100000.
  1. In the By warehouse tab, click the remove icon next to the warehouse.
  2. Confirm with Remove. The warehouse falls back to the product minimum.
  1. Open the menu at the top of the product page and click Delete Product.
  2. Confirm with Yes, Delete Product. The product is archived and leaves the active list.

To bring an archived product back:

  1. In Master data › Products, pick the Archived status tab.
  2. Click Restore in the product’s row. The product opens again.
  • Viewing the page needs the view products permission.
  • Editing and managing warehouse thresholds needs update products; thresholds also need operating access to the warehouse.
  • Deleting, the Archived tab and restoring need delete products.
