Movements report
The movements report lists every stock movement recorded in the system: receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments and the other movement types. Use it to find a specific movement, review what happened in a warehouse, or hand a filtered list to someone as a spreadsheet.
Summary cards
Section titled “Summary cards”- Total Movements
- Stock Intakes
- Stock Issues
- Transfers
Filters
Section titled “Filters”- Search by movement #, recipient, warehouse, notes… — free-text search.
- Warehouse — movements of one warehouse.
- Type — for example Stock Intake, Stock Issue, Warehouse Transfer or Stock Adjustment.
- Status — for example Draft, Pending Approval, Approved, In Transit or Completed.
- Supplier — shown when suppliers exist; limits the list to movements from one supplier.
- Clear — removes all filters.
Columns
Section titled “Columns”- Movement Number
- Type
- Status
- Route / Destination — source and destination warehouses, or the recipient or project.
- Units Moved
- Created By & Date
You can sort by movement number, type, status, date or units moved by clicking the column header. Newest movements appear first by default.
How to run and export
Section titled “How to run and export”- From the side menu, open Reports, then click Movements report.
- Type in the search box or pick the filters you need.
- Change the number of rows per page at the bottom of the table if needed.
- Click Export to Excel. The file contains the movements that match your current search and filters.
Required permission
Section titled “Required permission”You need the view inventory reports permission. You only see movements of warehouses you have access to.
