Valuation history

This report shows how the value of your stock changed over time. It calculates the stock value of each warehouse at the end of every month for the period you choose, so you can see trends, compare warehouses and explain changes in value between month ends.

Filters

• Period — Last 3 months, Last 6 months, Last 12 months (the default) or Last 24 months.
• Warehouse — one warehouse, or All warehouses. Only warehouses you have access to are listed.
• Product — one product, or All products.
• Category — one category, or All categories.

Summary cards

• Current value — the stock value at the latest month end.
• Change over N months — how much the value rose or fell during the selected period.
• Warehouses — how many warehouses appear in the report.

Chart and table

• A line chart shows the value of each warehouse month by month.
• The table has one row per Warehouse and one column per month end, with a Total row at the bottom.

How to run and export

1. From the side menu, open Reports, then click Valuation history.
2. Choose the period and, if needed, a Warehouse, Product or Category.
3. Click Export Excel to download the monthly values as an Excel file.

Note

If the message No stock in this period appears, choose a longer period or clear the filters.
