Changelog
Version numbers group the system’s development stages; dates are when the changes were made.
2.1.2 — October 18, 2026
Section titled “2.1.2 — October 18, 2026”Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Forgot password shows the same message whether or not the address belongs to an account, so the page no longer reveals which e-mail addresses are registered.
- Long lists (assets, inventory records, audit log, custody) fit the screen: long names and paths are shortened with “…” and shown in full when you point at them.
- The role form names every area and action of the permission matrix and shows all its columns. Built-in roles show their translated name, which can’t be changed.
- The custody receipt for two or more assets prints its declaration.
- The profile shows the role’s name instead of its code, and the inventory record details tag a past move as Moved.
- The audit log shows locations by name and settings changes with their labels.
- The import error for a wrong file type lists CSV, XLSX and XLS; the dashboard labels and the Assets by status description were corrected.
- Settings › E-mail always has an encryption selected on a new installation.
2.1.1 — October 18, 2026
Section titled “2.1.1 — October 18, 2026”Changed
Section titled “Changed”- The colour scheme and page layout are chosen by an administrator in Settings › Appearance and apply to every user on every visit. Each user can still switch between light and dark mode from the header.
- A Custom colour scheme lets you use your company’s colour: pick it or type its code, see a sample button, and get a warning when the colour is too light for white text.
- Switching back to the default colour now removes the previous one.
2.1.0 — October 17, 2026
Section titled “2.1.0 — October 17, 2026”- Locations inside each branch (building, floor, room, area), used on assets, on the scan screen (also offline) and in inventory records.
- Custody: hand an asset over to an employee, transfer it to another one or take it back, with an expected return date, overdue tracking and a printable custody receipt. Each user sees the assets in their custody on their profile.
- Custom fields for assets (text, number, date, choice list, yes/no) in the asset form, the list, the import and the export.
- Integrations: access tokens for a REST API and signed webhooks so an ERP such as SAP or Odoo can read and update assets and receive every change.
- Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app and single-use recovery codes; an administrator can require it for everyone or only for administrators, and can reset it for a user who lost their phone.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- A user who holds assets in custody cannot be deleted until the assets are returned.
- Some Arabic messages on the profile page showed technical text instead of the message.
2.0.0 — October 16, 2026
Section titled “2.0.0 — October 16, 2026”- A new, consistent interface for every screen in Arabic and English, with dark mode.
- Inventory cycles: a period and a scope of branches and projects, live progress, and a discrepancy report (missing, moved, unregistered items and assets found outside the scope) with an Excel export. Closing a cycle can mark the assets not found as Missing and notifies everyone who follows inventory cycles.
- Reporting an item found on site that is not in the system; when an asset with that code is added later, the report is linked to it automatically.
- Offline scanning: the scan screen keeps a copy of the assets on the device, saves scans without a connection and sends them when the connection returns. The scan screen can be added to the phone’s home screen.
- Six asset statuses, Categories, an asset photo, and a trash with restore for assets, branches, projects and categories.
- Label printing with a QR code or a Code 128 barcode, in label-printer sizes or on A4 label sheets.
- Roles and permissions with a permission matrix; the menu and the buttons follow each user’s permissions.
- Settings for the system name and logo, language, time zone and date formats, e-mail and appearance, with a test e-mail.
- An Audit log of every change, sign-in and failed sign-in.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- A session stays alive while a page is open; when it ends, you return to the sign-in page with a message and nothing you typed is lost.
- A user who has inventory records is deactivated instead of deleted, and an asset that has records stays in the trash, so the inventory history is never lost.
- Changing the sign-in e-mail on the profile asks for the current password.
- Stronger protection against repeated sign-in, password-reset and search attempts.
- Excel imports report the errors of each row and save the other rows.
- Adding a branch failed.
1.0.0 — December 24, 2025
Section titled “1.0.0 — December 24, 2025”- Scanning assets by QR code or by typing their code, with confirmation of their branch and project.
- A dashboard of assets and scans; assets, branches, projects and users.
- Inventory records of every scan, and the asset inventory status report.
- Importing assets from Excel or CSV and exporting the asset list.
- Arabic (right-to-left) and English.
