Violations

The Violations screen lists the traffic violations recorded on your vehicles, the driver at the time, the amount, and who bears it: the rental company, your company or the driver.

Use it to follow fines, see how much is charged to drivers, and add, edit or delete violations.

What’s on this screen

• Summary cards:
  • Violations this month (amount) and Violations this month — the total amount and the number for the current month.
  • Violations this year (amount).
  • Charged to drivers this year — the amount of this year’s violations borne by drivers.
• Search box Search by number, plate or driver….
• Vehicle filter.
• Amount bearer filter — Rental company, Our company or Driver.
• Period filter on the violation date — This month, Last month, Last 90 days or This year.
• Add violation button.
• Table columns: Violation number, Violation date and time, Vehicle, Driver, Amount, Amount bearer and Violation file (a link when a file is attached, — when not).
• Row icons: view, edit and delete.

How to open the violations list

1. From the side menu, open Operations.
2. Click Violations.

How to work with a violation

1. Click a row, or the eye icon, to open its details.
2. Click the pencil icon to edit it.
3. Click the trash icon, then confirm in the Delete violation dialog. The violation and its file are deleted.

Note

Adding, editing and deleting need the Create, Edit and Delete permissions of Violations in the role editor. You only see the violations of vehicles in the projects and cities you are assigned to.
