Changelog

Version numbers group the system’s development stages; dates are when the changes were made.

  • General settings (super-admin only), the same for every user: company names, logo, dark-mode logo and icon, the colour scheme (including Custom) and the page layout; the default language, time zone, date format and time format; and the mail server, with a test e-mail. The mail password is stored encrypted and never shown.
  • Integrations (super-admin only): API tokens for other systems such as HR, planning or reporting, with the abilities read and write:drivers, an optional expiry date, the token shown once with a copy button, and revoking.
  • A REST API under /api/v1: vehicles, drivers, contracts, handovers, downtime, maintenance, fuel, accidents, violations, issued invoices, projects, cities and companies, plus the driver sync from an HR system. The token user’s permissions and projects/cities apply; 60 requests a minute per token.
  • Dates and times are written in the format chosen in General settings on every screen.
  • The personal Appearance page is removed: colours and layout are set for everyone in General settings, and each person keeps only the light/dark switch in the header.
  • Clearer Arabic names: التوقفات (downtime), ماركات المركبات (vehicle brands); the reports are now “Downtime report” and “Vehicle registrations”.
  • The role editor gives every report its own label, including Issue monthly invoices, and a single System settings box under Settings.
  • Maintenance and violation forms of an owned vehicle show who bears the cost (the vehicle’s own choice, else the system setting) instead of asking; a vehicle with an active owned contract counts as owned.
  • Appearance (colour, layout, display mode) is saved on this device only; the default colour is Eleva orange, and Custom lets you pick any colour.
  • A user’s type is only a label for sorting and filtering; permissions come from roles, and any user can supervise drivers.
  • Accident and handover photos are private: only users who may view or edit those records can open them. Driver photos are shown only to users with a permission on drivers.
  • A completely new interface in the Eleva Pro Technology look, Arabic first with English, in light and dark modes.
  • Issuing monthly invoices after the month ends; each invoice keeps its figures and the VAT rate it was issued with.
  • System settings: the VAT rate, and who bears the costs of owned vehicles (which a vehicle can override).
  • Limiting a user to projects and cities, so they only see those vehicles and their records.
  • Every report exports to a CSV file that opens in Excel, with all the filtered rows.
  • A roles screen with a permission matrix, and an activity log showing values before and after each change.
  • The monthly invoice is pro-rated by the contract’s actual days in the month, deducts downtime days and adds VAT on the amount before VAT.
  • Vehicle handover rules: only the driver holding a vehicle can hand it over, never to an inactive driver, and the date and mileage can’t go back.
  • A record used by other records can’t be deleted (a vehicle with contracts, a driver with accidents…), so history is kept.
  • Invoices for contracts ending within the month, and downtimes still open with no end date.
  • The delete permission is now really required on every screen.
  • An accident keeps all its photos instead of only the last one; contract files can be opened.
