My profile

My profile is where you see and change the name and e-mail of your own account, and check the roles you hold. Every signed-in user can open it.

To open it, click your name at the bottom of the side menu and choose My profile.

What’s on this screen

• A card with your initials, name, e-mail and roles, with Last sign-in and Member since.
• Details: your Name and E-mail, with Cancel and Save.
• Access: your Roles, with Set by an administrator in Settings › Users.

How to change your name

1. In Details, edit Name.
2. Click Save. The button becomes available once you change something; Cancel brings back the saved values.

How to change your e-mail

1. In Details, edit E-mail. A Current password field appears, with Changing your email needs your current password.
2. Type your current password.
3. Click Save.

The new e-mail is the one you sign in with from now on. A message is sent to your previous address to tell you that the sign-in e-mail was changed, so that you notice if someone else did it.

Both fields are required, and the e-mail must not already be used by another account.

• The password is incorrect.: the current password is wrong. Wrong passwords count toward the limit described in Confirm your password.
• Enter your current password to change your email.: the password field was left empty.

Note

You cannot change your own roles. Ask an administrator.

Tip

The other pages of your account are in the same menu: Password (your password and two-factor sign-in) and Appearance (light or dark display and colours).
